THE CREED OF THE CHURCH OF ADAM

“We of the Church of Adam believe:

That all men of whatever race, color or creed were created with equal rights.

That all men have inalienable rights to their own religious practices and their performance.

That all men have inalienable rights to their own lives.

That all men have inalienable rights to their sanity.

That all men have inalienable rights to their own defense.

That all men have inalienable rights to conceive, choose, assist, or support their own organizations, churches, and governments.

That all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinions of others.

That all men as incarnations of Adam, of God Himself have inalienable rights to the creation of their own kind.

That the souls of men have the rights of divine sovereign beings.

That the study of the mind and the healing of mentally caused illnesses should not be alienated from religion or condoned in nonreligious fields.

And that no agency less than God has the power to suspend or set aside these rights, overtly or covertly.

And we of the Church believe that Man is divine, an undivided part of the cosmos, the very Spirit of Adam

That he is seeking to survive, thrive, and attain complete self-awareness.

That his spiritual fulfillment depends upon himself and upon his fellows and his attainment of oneness with the Spirit of Adam.

And we of the Church believe that the laws of God forbid Man:

To destroy his own kind without just cause.

To destroy the sanity of another.

To destroy or enslave another’s soul.

To destroy or reduce the survival of one’s companions or one’s group.

And we of the Church believe that the spirit can be incorporated into the eternal Spirit of Adam.

And that the inner spirit of Adam may save or heal the physical body.”

CREED OF A SAINT

“As a Saint of Adam, I pledge myself eternally to The Church of Adam for the good of the Spirit of Adam.

To keep saints, the public and the press accurately informed concerning The Church of Adam, the world of religion, mental health, spiritual illness, and society at large.

To my position in The Church of Adam to the best of my ability to help my family, friends, groups, and the world.

To refuse to accept for processing and to refuse to accept money from any seeker or group I feel I cannot honestly help.

To decry and do all I can to abolish any and all abuses against life and the spirit of Adam.

To expose false religion and help abolish any and all physically damaging practices in the field of community, mental health, therapy, religion, and spirituality.

To help clean up and keep clean the fields of community, mental health, therapy, religion, and spirituality.

To bring about an atmosphere of safety and security in the fields of community, mental health, therapy, religion, and spirituality by eradicating its abuses and brutality.

To support true humanitarian endeavors in the fields of human rights and expanding the horizons human consciousness.

To embrace the policy of equal justice for all.

To work for freedom of speech in the world.

To actively decry the suppression of knowledge, wisdom, philosophy, or truth which would help Mankind.

To support the freedom of religion.

To defend the right of the Church to partake in the sacred entheogens and mycological sacraments as communion with the divine Spirit of Adam.

To help The Church of Adam organizations and groups ally themselves with public groups.

To teach the religion of The Church of Adam at a level it can be understood and used by all recipients.

To stress the freedom to use The religion of Church of Adam as a philosophy in all its applications and variations in the humanities.

To insist upon standard and unvaried religion of The Church of Adam as an applied activity in ethics, processing, and administration in The Church of Adam organizations.

To take my share of responsibility for the impact of The Church of Adam upon the world.

To increase the numbers and strength of The Church of Adam over the world.

To set an example of the effectiveness and wisdom of The Church of Adam.

To make this world a more spiritually healthy, better place. Thou art Adam.”
